Georgetown's Davis Performing Arts Center

A Season of Change

Georgetown's award-winning Davis Performing Arts Center sought a creative campaign worthy of its 10th Anniversary Season. The theme, 'Making New Worlds,' celebrated the transformative power of storytelling and set the stage for an exciting decade ahead. We used bold, provocative photography of cast and crew members to create a dynamic, collage-style series. The characters were shown breaking through graphic boundaries—a powerful metaphor for shattering the fourth wall between actors and audience.

A Theme of "Breaking Through"

The vertical rectangle shape anchoring all of the executions was integrated with a bold and artful typographic treatment in the large banners hung outside the theater for the run of the season. The campaign concept was also carried across a number of creative formats and executions, from illustrated programs to marquees, season calendars and souvenirs.
