A Sense of Play, A Spirit of Purpose

The Zimmer Children's Museum, a beloved institution in Los Angeles, came to me for a full rebrand as they evolved from a standalone museum into a broader educational nonprofit. I led my team in creating a new name and tagline that balance playfulness with purpose.

The logo system is centered around an 'S' executed more as a doodle than a traditional letter mark. The squiggly shape captures the spirit of imagination and allows for a flexible logo system. While the parent brand’s 'S' with a 'W' at its base is more abstract, the symbolic icon doodles take their place in the sub-brand lockups.

A Flexible System, An Evolving Brand

My team delivered a logo suite, with a distinctive color palette, supporting pattern work and inspiring campaign language. This system allowed for equal emphasis on ShareWell's programs - each taking on its own character and narrative, but with a consistent tone of voice.

The system also layed a foundation for ShareWell's growth, with the opportunity to add additional sub brands as new offerings emerged in 2018 and beyond. The client-friendly Brand Guide we created, along with a wide range of templates, also allowed ShareWell to build on and work within the system moving forward.
