The Royal

A Recipe For Success

With national chains and high-priced restaurants on the rise, the owners of The Royal came to me to create a brand for their new restaurant concept, designed to meet DC's demand for locally owned, mid-range dining. They asked me to develop a brand identity that reflected craftsmanship, honored the neighborhood's legacy, and balanced polish with warmth.

Created With Care

The custom wordmark, rendered in gold, was inspired by a classic car logo. Our approach mirrors what the owners did with the building—transforming an old corner store into a space that combines attention to detail with approachable design.
